Experience the rustic charm of the Laurentide Region in Quebec!

Venture to remote destinations and earn a distinct sense of accomplishment as you arrive to off-grid outfitters throughout the Laurentide region of Quebec. Starting from Vieux Moulin and exploring more of this western region is the perfect route to immerse yourself in local culture and specialties.

Packing up your gear on your sled, each day forward will be an escape to grand log cabins and chalets “out in the sticks,” many of which are accessible only by snowmobile during the winter and generate their own electricity by solar, hydro, windmill, or generator. Snowmobilers are welcomed with open arms at each accommodation, and there is no replacement for the warmth, hospitality, and generosity demonstrated by each owner and each employee. These rustic destinations truly offer an off-grid experience, as the trail passes right by the front door and no roads are taken to arrive. Once inside, indulging in regional dishes such as ‘fondue chinois’ is the perfect way to end a sensational day of snowmobiling amongst good friends.

Trail 33, which runs up to outfitter 100 Lacs, is a favorite of this trip, as fantastic grooming always delivers smooth and scenic trails. The format of this tour is designed to appeal to people who enjoy riding their sled at speeds ranging from 40-55 mph on a trail system that changes frequently.

When embarking on a tour with us, you will also have peace of mind knowing that Airmedic coverage is automatically included for each person. Airmedic is a private company in Quebec that offers helicopter transport and medical assistance in emergency situations. This is an extremely important layer of protection when we are riding in some of the more remote areas of the country, and this coverage ensures that we have the best resources at our disposal should we need it.

This is just one of the many safety features included in our packages, in addition to our ‘guardian angel’ Sylvie, our satellite phones, and our InReach communicators.
